TOSCA Couture is a collection of glamorous eveningwear designed and manufactured in the Seventh Avenue showroom, insuring quality construction and workroom finishing.
A combination of feminine ease, opulence and drama is the theme prevalent throughout this richly colored collection. A palette of jewel tones reigns among the unique fabrics bought from the most established names in Europe and Gandini.
Sensuality is fervent throughout the cocktail and black tie pieces. Close to the body crepes, figure hugging shirred taffetas and beautiful draping follow the natural lines of the body.
Luminous taffetas, watercolor impressionist prints and rainbow palettes over ombre irridescent mousselline are only a small part of the extensive array of fabric used.
Re-embroidered laces and an interplay of textures using cotton and silk matelasse and coloque round out a most glamorous collection that is wearable but strikingly different.
An olive green/gold featherweight Lazar cut Swiss fabric styled into a fingertip length jacket over a gown in Satin backed Crepe is pure glam. Delicately beaded tulle is used over chiffon in a floral motif.
This collection is for a woman seeking pricey look and feel with international flair. In short it is for those who understand and wear couture. A very fresh approach to classic patterns make these pieces most wearable and in keeping with today's economy, Tosca is priced as a designer line but styled as European couture.
